After watching the U.S. Olympic Trials, I have a better feeling for our chances of finishing in the medal rounds. It made me feel good that our divers were doing dives that could challenge the rest of the world if they hit their dives. In the last Olympic Games, our divers were outclassed by far. It was like the men versus the boys and we were the boys. Now our divers are at least doing dives that puts them on the same playing field with the world’s other divers. To medal, it’s just a matter of hitting their dives under the pressure of being in the Games. I wish them all the best of luck.
